Do you honestly think it’s so simple as like 7 yr old kids telling their mums and dads they’re girls not boys and then the family waltzes off to the doctor and the kid has a nice little surgery and everything’s changed the next day? No. Cis people like you have made it very fucking clear we’ve got to wait and wait and wait through the medical system and all kinds of doctors to let us get treatment before ages of consent (and even after in many cases). Jesus, it’s not like we’re out there actually getting easy medical care, you can relax already.

Getting medication for my depression is a serious modification too. How come I was allowed to say, ‘Look, I’ve got this this and this as symptoms, I think it’s depression.’ my doctor agreed with me and my mother signed off on getting me depression medication, but when it comes to hormones no matter what evidence I could put forth it wouldn’t be enough, I’d have to keep waiting. And waiting. Probably till after my body did some really harmful shit to me and I was forced to socialize incorrectly, because HEADS UP, dressing your kid in ‘boy clothes’ doesn’t make schools recognize them as boys.

Most of them will force a non-medically transitioned person into an incorrect category. Whether you’re “supportive” or not. 

#its not like i wouldnt support my child if they wanted to be the opposite sex #i’d take them shopping and allow them to live as a boy if they wanted #but i wouldnt allow serious body modification sorry

yeah getting medication for your depression is totally the same as completely altering your body and putting yourself at a higher risk of health problems, including cancer,  potentially rendering you infertile etc

Either you go pick up copies of the fucking DSM-IV and the WPATH Standards of Care and you sit your ignorant ass down and you study what treatment modalities are specified for trans children, or you SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTH because you have no damn idea what you are talking about.
